World Music Awards 2000
Michael Was awarded the male pop artist of the Millenium a the Monaco world music awards. Snippets from his videos were screened, as Michael's song "chilhood" was played. Then his Shadow appeared against a white screen, as "beat it" was played. The audience went crazy as Michael stood center stage and waited for the music to end. They gave him a standing ovation.
During his acceptance speech, Michael spoke about his childhood and his life as an entertainer. He thanked his fans for their support, and ended his speech with these words, "i'm so pround to be an entertainer, but you've seen noyhing yet"
